Tips On Getting Rid Of Rashes
Rashes are a very common skin condition and while they can be very inconvenient and sometimes even painful, there are simple cures which you can use to get rid of it. Getting rid of rashes can involve one or several components depending on the cause/s as well as the severity of the condition.
Here are some tips on getting rid of rashes
Apply olive oil on the affected area
Olive oil has many uses apart from being an excellent culinary ingredient. It is an effective antiseptic and it also has moisturizing effects that keep the skin from drying up. You can use a cotton ball or buds to apply the oil and make sure that you cover not only the rash itself but also its surrounding area.
Apply Chamomile Tea Liberally
There are two ways of doing this, one of which is to wet the tea bag and put it on the rash for 3-5 minutes. Another option is to dilute the tea bag in a cup of warm water and use cotton balls to apply the tea on the rashes. Chamomile has excellent herbal healing properties that work not only on rashes but pimples and wounds as well.
Keep the Area Clean and Away From any Allergens
Getting rid of rashes will take more than just the application of cures. It is equally important to keep the area clean and isolated from bacteria or whatever was the cause of the adverse reaction. Washing it with clean water and mild soap would help a great deal in containing the rash and preventing its spread. It is also necessary to avoid scratching or touching the rash with your bare hands as it can cause further infection.
Apply the Prescribed Topical Solution
If home remedies do not work, make sure you consult a dermatologist as soon as possible so you can get a prescription for an effective rash cure. Getting rid of rashes do not always involve medications but if they get worse or if you do not get any relief from any of the natural remedies, it is prudent to get medical aid to ensure safety.
